The problem we solve

Every shop quotes a price, nobody explains it

Buyers go from shop to shop, asking and comparing in their heads, while sellers write the morning's prices on paper or in a Facebook post that is stale within an hour. Golden Sagha puts both sides at one table.

How it works

Three steps from morning to sale

No change to the way you work. Prices in pounds, accounts in grams, and invoices the way your accountant wants them.

The seller updates pricesManually in seconds, or automatically from the global spot price plus your margin.
The buyer compares and reservesSees every shop in their city, picks a piece, and reserves it with or without a deposit.
The sale happens in storeThe customer weighs and inspects the piece, and the seller closes the invoice and sends it to the tax authority in one click.
Built for Egypt's gold market

The details generic software doesn't understand

We built for the problems that repeat in every jewelry shop, not a generic CRM painted gold.

Trade-insThe customer brings old gold and takes new. Who pays whom the difference? The system works it out.
Accounts in gramsWorkshops and suppliers settle in grams, not pounds. Our ledger works that way.
Stale pricesA branch forgot to update? Its pieces are hidden from the page until it does, to protect buyer trust.
E-invoicingTax on the total or on the making charge only, as your accountant prefers, sent automatically.
FAQ

Common questions about gold prices and making charges

Short answers to what buyers and sellers ask before using the platform.

What is the difference between the global gold price and the per-gram price in a shop?

The global price is the price of one ounce of gold in US dollars. A shop's per-gram price is derived from it: converted to Egyptian pounds, divided by the ounce weight (31.1 g), multiplied by the karat fraction, and then the making charge and tax are added. That is why it differs from shop to shop.

How is the making charge calculated?

The making charge is an amount per gram set by the type of piece and how hard it is to craft. It varies from shop to shop and piece to piece. On Golden Sagha you see the piece price with the making charge before you visit the shop.

What is the tax on gold charged on?

In Egypt, VAT is usually charged on the making charge rather than on the raw gold price, but shops calculate it in different ways. The platform shows you the price with and without tax for each shop, so there are no surprises at the counter.
